The Service
A small concierge holds a journey the way a good house holds a guest — by hand, and to a standard. Here is what happens after you write, how we work, and the arrangement set out plainly.
After you write
A named correspondent writes back within twenty-four hours — not a form-letter, but the first line of a conversation that runs to the last night of the trip.
We draw two or three retreats — or islands, or a route — to your brief. A considered reading, not a catalogue to wade through.
The journey on paper: villas, transfers, the shape of each day, and a clear price with what is and isn’t included. No booking fees.
We hold the villa and the dates with the retreat while you think. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is booked without your word.
A deposit secures the journey; we settle the contracts with the retreat and the operators, and send you a single, clear confirmation.
Your correspondent stays reachable across the journey, with an emergency line for the unexpected — a turned flight, a change in the weather, a plan that needs redrawing.
How we hold it
Every retreat, guide and boat is one we have used or inspected. We introduce nothing we would not arrange for ourselves.
The same person from the first letter to the last night — not a desk, not a queue, not a different agent each time you write.
A direct line through the journey and an emergency contact for the unexpected, so help is a message away rather than a call centre.
What you tell us is used only to compose your journey, shared only with the retreats arranging it, and never resold.
The arrangement
You are never charged a fee to arrange your journey. What you pay is for the stay itself.
Held with the retreats we work with most — long relationships, and the favours that come with them, passed to you.
Pricing follows the proposal, because every journey is composed rather than packaged. You see the figure before anything is held.
Transfers, board, taxes and what falls outside the price are set out in the proposal — before you commit to anything.
