OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi is an all-inclusive luxury island a short hop from Velana — a fifteen-minute speedboat crossing, with an active house-reef and a family-led register. The cadence is open and lively; the all-inclusive plan — the Fushi Plan — runs broadly across the kitchens and the watersports. "Aila" means family in Dhivehi; "Fushi" means island — the house was drawn for the modern traveller, be that family, couple, or friends. Two hundred and sixty-eight villas across four categories, drawn as dhoni shapes on the lagoon arc.
